Ordering from Melanie’s Garden
Orders can be placed through our website, www.melaniesgarden.co.uk or by telephoning 01932 341180 during office hours, which are currently 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
UK and International Order Processing and Despatch times
Any telephone or web orders, whether placed on a working day, a weekend, or a holiday, will not be looked at until the next working day. Once you have paid for an order, any changes will be treated as a new order.
UK Despatch times:
Most in-stock orders are despatched from our premises within 2 working days Monday-Friday (may take up to 5 working days in busy periods). We cannot guarantee despatch times in situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. You will receive an e-mail from us the day we despatch your order. We will send your parcel using Royal Mail’s 2nd Class service.
UK Delivery times:
Royal Mail 2nd Class - usually takes 2-3 working days for delivery after despatch but delivery times can vary with Royal Mail for various reasons. Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you on delivery.
Outside Mainland UK, Europe & International Delivery times:
International Despatch Times

We endeavour wherever possible to keep P&P costs as low as possible for our customers and even FREE for mainland UK orders over £50.00.
Free for all orders over £50.00. If the value of your order is under £50.00 then P&P costs are £3.50 per order.

We endeavour to only display products on this web site which are in stock. However, all products and services are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled within our usual despatch time you will be contacted. It may (but only very rarely) happen that a product is discontinued after you have ordered it, in this case you will be given a full refund.
Payment can be made by Gift Voucher, PayPal or Cheques can be made out to Melanie’s Garden.
Prices, Quotes and Bulk Orders
We endeavour to ensure accurate pricing in both our catalogue and on our website. Prices are subject to change without notice and our website has the most up to date prices. Prices are quoted in UK Sterling (£) including VAT.
Whilst we do not impose minimum order quantities, ordering items in bulk can result in free delivery (for orders over £50).
VAT is included in the price of the product.

If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office. Melanie’s Garden cannot be held responsible for any Import or Customs Duties or Taxes charged by your country.
It is our aim to offer 100% satisfaction. We will be happy to replace any faulty goods or redress any errors that we have made in connection with an order. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of placing it with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer) but any goods may be returned within 14 days from the day they are received providing they are unopened and unused. If they are unopened and unused or you cancel your order before we send out your parcel, we will be happy to refund your full payment, excluding return postage costs (if applicable). This is in addition to your statutory rights. If there are any claims, errors, or discrepancies, these must be reported immediately.
Many customers want to know why they can't get a refund on a product that they have opened but not used and wish to return to us. The reason is that we can no longer guarantee the quality of the product once you have opened it and so we cannot sell it to someone else. Due to the time and high expense involved, we regret that we cannot send samples.

Lost or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us in writing or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the case of non-delivery, please wait for 7 days after despatch (UK and EU countries) or 15 days from the date of despatch (non-EU and International) before contacting us. In the case of damage please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and return the product to the address that we will provide you with via email. We will either: refund you the postage costs or give you credit towards your next order.
Items missing in your parcel
If any item is short delivered and has been charged for Melanie’s Garden will cover the cost of freight in resending the goods as soon as is possible.
If your parcel is returned to us through no fault of our own, we may charge you a redelivery cost. Please ensure that you give us correct delivery information when ordering.
Liability and Disclaimer
The stability and nature of our products may be altered depending on storage conditions.
The information on this website and in our publications is as comprehensive and current as we can make it and is provided in good faith. While we have obviously done our utmost to provide current and accurate information, there may be errors. We have instructions for a simple Skin allergy test on our website and recommend using this test prior to applying any new cosmetic including Melanie's Garden products.

To opt out of the Melanie’s Garden mailing list: at the top and bottom of each e-mail is an ‘unsubscribe’ button for you to click. Please follow the instructions and your email address will be removed from our mailing list. You do not have to register a customer account in order to be on our mailing list/a Melanie’s Garden member.
Melanie’s Garden Customers - account registration
When you register as a Melanie’s Garden customer at Melanie’s Garden we take security and privacy of ALL of your data very seriously. Our back office operations are secure, even though this data does not include any of your payment details or credit card information. An SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificate safeguards your data by using a public-and-private key encryption system, making information exchanged unintelligible to anyone other than the intended recipients. Our SSL certificate is supplied by GeoTrust, leaders in online identity and trust services. You do not have to sign up as a Melanie’s Garden member when you register as an Melanie’s Garden customer but can do so during or after registration process.
Melanie’s Garden customers - no account
You can buy from Melanie’s Garden without registering a customer account. Your details will not be stored and you will have to provide your address and contact details every time you place a new order.
